Communicate

Have productive conversations with your co-workers, spouse or friends throughout the day. This allows you to redirect yourself, focus your attention, and attain your goals. And communication with trusted business associates or friends is essential during the inevitable challenges that arise.
A shared challenge is half a challenge!
Every day I talk to almost everyone within my circle of friends and business associates. Therefore, everyone knows what's going on and what we're trying to accomplish. Everyone has the same up to date information.
Being connected to others who share the same positive attitude I have gives me tremendous emotional power. I listen carefully to what they're saying. They may have a different perspective on a business challenge. They may have that nugget of information I'm looking for. Or they get me thinking about my next big project. They help validate my ideas. They open up blind spots. They make the wins sweeter and the losses easier to tolerate.
From personal experience, I know that creativity and productivity don't develop in a vacuum. They're nurtured through interaction and communication with many people working together as a team.
Remember, "Don't Quit!"
